Job Summary/Basic Function: Tenure-track faculty position in Graphic Design. Basic Qualifications: MFA or equivalent international degree (by date of appointment); advanced skills in interactive design, including work in various types of interfaces (web, tablet, smartphone); expertise in computer programs for graphic and interactive design; programming skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Professional experience in the field; teaching experience; working knowledge of time-based/video softwares; contribution to diversity.
Duties: Teach and advise in graphic design at the undergraduate level, with opportunity for graduate teaching; meet creative work and research requirements consistent with tenure expectations; provide service, such as committee work, facility supervision, and/or administration of the program.
