Welcome to AMRESCO, LLC, a VWR International Company. We are an international leader within the life sciences industry. We are looking for a dedicated employee to fill a fast-paced and demanding position as a Chemical Handler.

We are looking for both first and second shift Chemical Handlers.

We are looking for a self motivated and detail oriented individual to become a part of our growing team.

Requirements:
Experience working in a technical field, with a preference for previous chemical handling
Strong math and reading skills
Familiarity with the metric system and decimals
Ability to repeatedly lift 50 pounds, push and pull 100 pounds

Preferences:
Prior experience in preventative maintenance
Prior experience handling/mixing/compounding chemicals
Prior experience in a clean room environment

Personal protective equipment is provided and must be worn when working with chemicals.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
Prepare set-up, weigh, package, fill and label dry and liquid chemicals in compliance with customer requirements and safety guidelines.

Complete all assigned work orders, both hazardous and non-hazardous in nature, in the required standard time.

Operate production scales, including verification and calibration.

Set-up, operate, clean and maintain all equipment.

Complete required records and reports.

Detect and report faulty equipment, defective material, improper operations and unusual conditions to supervisor.

Use hand skid and counter balance as necessary to move and position equipment and materials; use care to lift and balance loads properly; operate equipment in a safe manner.
