The North American Professional Services team leads all of Nielsen's relationships with consumer-focused manufacturers and retailers. The team includes over 1,600 professionals in the United States and Canada and manages relationships for several hundred clients headquartered in North America including Kraft, Procter & Gamble and Coca Cola. The Nielsen organization is in a truly unique position to provide integrated solutions for our clients using unparalleled research and media assets. With these tools, we offer strategic insights and recommendations on our clients' highest priority business issues.
The Nielsen Company is looking for capable, inquisitive, confident individuals to develop and manage their Custom Analytics business and client relationships.
As a Client Manager, you will design, sell, execute and present custom-designed analytic studies to meet client research objectives and drive client satisfaction. You will provide valuable insights and recommendations to support your client's strategic marketing and sales initiatives. As the face of Nielsen's custom research capabilities, you will build a relationship with your client as a valued business partner.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Consult with clients to identify Nielsen assets that best address their strategic initiatives.
- Design custom research, applying appropriate Custom Analytics services to deliver against client's research needs, business issues and research budget. Analytics include but are not limited to:
o Marketing Mix (Aggregate and Store level)
o Price and Promotion Models
o Assortment
o Panel Analytics
- Apply knowledge of client's industry and competition to support action-based recommendations.
- Build and maintain ongoing business partner relationships with research, marketing and other client functional departments.
- Make high impact presentations to influence client actions.
- Act as an internal expert to other Nielsen departments, as well as to provide client training.
- Collaborate with other Nielsen departments to develop multi-functional solutions.
- Contribute to development of team objectives to deliver measurable client value.

The position is located in Covington, KY in the Greater Cincinnati area.
Qualifications
Education Qualifications
- Bachelors degree required, Masters degree a plus
- Significant coursework or degree in a quantitative field

Job Requirements
- 3-6 years of experience in the Marketing Research industry.
- Proficient in various marketing research statistical techniques.
- Intermediate technical proficiencies in Microsoft Office software.
- Prior experience managing projects.
Experience with SPSS or SAS desired
