Agfa HealthCare Corporation is a global leader in healthcare solutions. Agfa manufactures and develops an extensive portfolio of healthcare imaging and IT solutions. Products include Integrated RIS/PACS solutions, Cardiology, Mammography and Computed Radiography, Digital Hardcopy solutions and CR devices (digitizers, printers and processors). Agfa provides doctors and hospitals state of the art technology critical in patient care, data/ records management and retention.

Agfa is currently in need of a dedicated, qualified Field Service Engineer / Customer Support Engineer to support and help grow our customer base. Some overnight travel required.

This position may be based out of the following location(s) and surrounding area:

Cleveland, OH

Responsibilities:

Install, maintain and repair medical equipment within assigned territory.

Develop and maintain customer relationships to insure customer satisfaction.

* Grow business through the sale of technology refreshes, maintenance agreements and product upgrades.
*
Adhere and comply with all quality standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

*
Associates Degree in electronics and/or military experience in electronics required.

*
Certifications such as A+, MCSE or other required.

*
Networking and IT experiences required.

*
Unix, SQL server, Database work a definite plus.

*
Field Service work in medical field preferred.

*
Excellent time management skills required.

*
Must be a self-starter along with ability to identify and diagnose complex problems.

*
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in order to meet customers needs.

*
On Call availability required on a rotating basis (nights and weekends) to support customer requests for service after hours.
