Job Description

Duties/Responsibilities include:

* coordinate efforts of design professionals and contractors
* convey project program requirements to design professionals
* evaluate construction documents
* solicit and evaluate proposals from contractors
* negotiate construction contracts
* evaluate potential project sites
* develop project timeline and implementation
* assist Project Managers in assembly of project development team
* review design and construction documents; ensure compliance
* attend municipal and community group meetings

Qualifications Required include:

* Bachelor's or professional degree in architecture or construction management;
* Able to make effective presentations at public forums
* Strong negotiating skills; sound understanding of AIA contracts
* Three-five (3-5) years experience in multi-family housing design, construction administration, construction management and/or development
* Excellent problem-solving abilities
* Detailed with strong organizational skills
* Valid drivers license with access to reliable, insurable automobile,

While this position requires travel to principally locations in Cuyahoga County, it may include locations throughout Ohio and western Pennsylvania.
