Summary: Leads and directs Human Resources strategy and operations to ensure alignment with the mission, values and objectives of the department and organization.
Job Responsibilities: Develops and oversees implementation of HR practices, policies, and procedures in all functional areas. Directs staffing and capacity planning for the assigned HR organization/department. Develops, monitors and manages the departmental budget(s). Uses broad knowledge of applicable statutory and regulatory requirements to ensure the organizational compliance. Ensures enterprise-wide compliance in all HR-related areas, including compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations, healthcare-related matters and all other matters that arise by creating, implementing or improving programs and/or procedures for enterprise. Other duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Management or related field required. Master's Degree and Juris Doctor preferred.
Experience: Ten years of progressive HR generalist experience. Managerial experience in recruiting/retention, compensation, benefits and/or employee relations programs/services required. Health care experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: SPHR Certification through Society Human Resource Management preferred.
Physical Requirements: Normal physical demands include dexterity sufficient to operate a personal computer and other office equipment. Ability to travel to alternate sites throughout the organization. Normal or corrected vision, hearing and speech.
