Salary Group 9: $33,919 to $45,225

Minimum Requirements:

Graduation from high school or equivalent and six (6) years of relevant work experience at a journeyman level which includes residential and commercial construction work involving new construction, alterations and additions.

ADDITIONAL OR SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Applicants not possessing a City of Toledo Electrician journeyman s card at the time of hire must take the next available examination within 6 months of hire and pass the examination within 15 months of hire. An Electrical Safety Inspector Certificate from the State of Ohio desirable at time of appointment. Individuals not holding the Electrical Safety Inspector Certificate from the State of Ohio must pass the Board of Building Standards approved examination within six (6) months of appointment to the position and must further comply with all other additional requirements of the Ohio Building Code to obtain full certification. Must possess a valid State of Ohio
driver s license.
