Hourly Rate: $12.00 p/hr

Job Purpose:

Performs manual duties related to the movement of products and materials. Supports one or more functional areas of the customer location to include but not limited to; packing shipping receiving order fulfillment stock handling inventory support etc. In addition will be responsible for quality issues and communication between departments on efficiency issues. This position does not work within the client s place of business but rather at a customer s off-site warehouse.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Ships product including preparing packing lists shipping labels and other documents outlined in scope of service.
* Manages the receipt unpacking de-trashing and checking of incoming materials and RMA (return merchandise authorization) processing.
* Fulfils orders from stored inventory according to customer order specifications.
* Ensures accuracy and disposition of inventory cycle counts.
* Within expected guidelines manages and executes cycle count or physical inventory including reconciliation of count discrepancies.
* Ensures compliance with Avnet s logistics policies and procedures.
* Ensures Inplant Store is ESD (Electro Static Discharge) compliant including audits and documentation.
* Maintains up-to-date knowledge of systems processes and procedure changes.

* Ability to trouble shoot and satisfactorily resolve problems to the customer s satisfaction

* Organizational skills
* Detail oriented
* Ability to file using either an alpha or numeric filing system
* Knowledge of warehouse procedures to include multiple functions such as shipping receiving etc.
* Knowledge and ability to focus on quality control
* Problem solving techniques to improve internal processes

Work Experience:

One year of previous warehouse experience is required

Education and Certification(s):

High School Diploma or equivalent.
