Jobing Description

ARINC, Dayton, Ohio, is looking for a Financial Management Analyst to support the Air Force Research Laboratory Center for Rapid Product Development on Wright Patterson Air Force Base. In this role the Financial Management Analyst will:
Assist appropriate organization point(s) of contact in updating and monitoring the management information system. Must have expert experience in and able to:
Coordinate between the Division level management and Financial Management Office.
Initiate and process funding documents.
Assist the Division Business Manager with financial planning and execution.
Track current and prior year dollars for internal and external projects.
Assist in preparing spend plans for timely execution of funds.
Track commitment, obligation, and expenditure of contract and non-contract funds, including payroll and travel funds.
Research regulations, policy, and procedural guidance.
Monitor and assist in managing Research and Development (R&D) case files, including:
Setting up case files.
Assisting project engineers maintain case files.
Reviewing case files before official file retirement reviews.
Tracking Final Report submittal and progress.
Tracking signed DD Form 250Z submittals and distributions Qualifications REQUIREMENTS: Eight or more years of relevant experience.
Mastery of all the following Software Applications: ABSS, CCaRS, Clarity, Cognos, CRIS, DTS, Info Center, JOCAS, Outlook, PowerPoint, Share Data Warehouse, and Word.
Customer service and time-management skills are required.
Much of this work is self-appointed and requires a high degree of professional independence, initiative and self-discipline.
Broad, logical thinker and planner.
Ability to quickly analyze progress and data to make recommendations for improvement.
Strong personal skills; able to communicate and coordinate with senior management and in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with Government operational and procurement organizations.

EDUCATION: Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Amount of Travel Required for Position 0%-25%
