In this position, the Support Technician will be required to speak and write fluent Japanese and provide analytical and technical assistance in projects. This position also serves in the capacity of Primary and/or Secondary Account Manager for clients. The ideal candidate will possess a background in Information Technology. This position is located in Canton, Ohio.

* Provide assistance to the project management team in analyzing and understanding requirements.
* Assist in the development of work order specifications to be approved by the client and used by the internal development team.
* Provide quality assurance for the completion of project tasks as described in the work orders.
* Provide troubleshooting, problem correction, assistance and instruction to client staff remotely to resolve software problems or to generally support the client s use of the MSDgen software.
* Determine client needs; recommend and implement solutions to ensure minimum delay and effective operation for system users.
* Help maintain and update technical documentation such as system configurations, procedures, problem fixes and client support procedures.
* Help develop, update and distribute user instructional documentation as needed.
* Travel to Japan 4 to 6 times per year.

Qualifications:

* Verbal and written fluency in both Japanese and English.
* BA/BS minimum with preferred concentration in Business or Information Technology.
* Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deliver results by critical deadlines.
* Ability to self manage activities and multi-task.
* Excellent technical aptitude required.
* Experience working with Database Managements Systems (DBMS) such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or Microsoft Access preferred.
* Ability to travel frequently to sites in the Asia Pacific region.
