Assistant/Associate Professor of Nursing

The Department of Nursing is seeking a ranked full-time faculty member for classroom and clinical teaching, beginning August 2012, in a CCNE accredited BSN program and a newly established MSN program. This faculty member s primary responsibility will be to teach classroom and clinical in both BSN and the MSN programs.

A Masters degree in nursing with FNP certification is required; a doctorate degree (DNP, DNS, or Ph.D.)is preferred. Completion of a doctoral degree is required for the position to be tenure-track. The qualified candidate must have an unrestricted registered nurse license in Ohio. Salary and rank commensurate with experience and credentials.

The successful candidate must have a strong Christian commitment with a demonstrated ability to integrate a biblical worldview with the practice of Nursing or a keen interest in developing such. Applicants must be born-again Christians, must agree with and abide by the university doctrinal statement, Community Covenant, and General Work Place Standards. The filling of this position is pending budget approval and successful completion of a background check.
