This is a general job description and represents multiple openings in various departments. College students must apply to this requisition to indicate their interest.

Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Operations Management co-op/intern opportunities typically exist in the following areas, projects may include:

*Cost Planning Responsibilities include: MLES system improvement project, raw material data mining and tracking proposal, analyzing transfer of parts, and assisting buyers in various projects and tasks. Support creation and implementation of Raw Material eQuote module and analyze supplier's rubber raw material formulation for potential slide adjustment. This job would also encompass various projects (such as: process improvement, cost analysis and reduction project).

*Purchasing Responsibilities include: Support plant decommissioning of suspension area at MMP. Expediting materials and Match exception resolution. Customer service and production support (spare part issue resolution). Can also include project evaluations, bid meetings and midterm project theme activities.

Required Courses: Basic Business, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing or Engineering classes.

Desired Courses: Purchasing, Engineering and business intro classes.

Location (one of the following): Marysville, OH (45 minutes northwest of Columbus, OH) East Liberty, OH (55 minutes northwest of Columbus, OH) Anna, OH (45 minutes north of Dayton, OH) Russells Point, OH (30 minutes northwest of Marysville, OH)

Term: Summer 2012 (May/June August/September). Minimum of 10 weeks required.

Status: Sophomore or above.

Degree: Candidate must be enrolled in a Bachelor degree program studying Purchasing, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field.
