GuideOne Insurance, one of the nation's leading insurers of churches, private schools, and auto & home insurance for church goers, has an immediate opening for a Sales Director responsible for the growth and development of the company's P&C Insurance operation through the recruitment and management of Career Agents in the states of Ohio and Michigan. We are looking for an enthusiastic self-starter with a desire to succeed and who is committed to exceeding the expectations of our customers.
To assure growth and profitability, the Sales Director must be a strong leader who can provide on-going effective communication, training, recognition and support for Career Agents. The position requires versatility and excellent communication skills. Mastery of all company products and support services is expected.
Responsibilities Include:
Management of sales organization through Career Agent recruitment, supervision and training.
Sales and profitability of all group products within assigned territories.
Accountability for territory annual budget.
Skills/Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Business or related field.
Strong sales background with 5 or more years of management experience within a Career Agency Channel.
Demonstrate a sense of integrity and ethics.
Hard working, self-disciplined and goal oriented.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills.
Insurance sales experience or agency management preferred.
