    DMI (Digital Management, LLC.) is looking for a Sr Big Data Developer to support

    About the Opportunity

    Our Big Data team is responsible for delivering a large scale data platform globally. As part of this, DMI is looking for a big data developer with 7+ years of overall experience and 3+ years of experience on Hadoop/Cloudera big data stack. Candidate needs to have strong fundamentals on big data and SQL. Experience with design and develop in high-volume real-time big data platforms is preferred.


    • Create the technical design for the project scope with very little information on requirements.
    • Pre-processing using Hive and Pig. Loading from disparate data sets.
    • Designing, building, installing, configuring and supporting Hadoop.
    • Translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed design.
    • Perform analysis of vast data stores and uncover insights.
    • Maintain security and data privacy.


    Education and Years of Experience:

    • 7+ years of experience in data domain across industries, especially Finance & Insurance.
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in Java, big data open source technologies
    • Strong analytical and diagnostic skills
    • Strong in core Java, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML5, CSS3 and AngularJS
    • Good knowledge in back-end programming, specifically java, JS, Node.js and OOAD
    • Good knowledge of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
