Job Description
Engineer - Testing sought by Schaeffler Transmission LLC in Wooster, OH to conduct activities reqrd to V&V, for products & contained system, mech, E/E or SW elements Reqs: Bach deg or foreign equiv in Mech Engg, Mechatronic Engg or rel +1 yr exp in job offered or rel. 1 yr exp must incl: Modelling & simulating mech, electric, or mechatronic dev; Test rig dev, instrumentation, calibration & measurement, electric/electronic install & repair, comp maint, & data acquisition sys; Qual standards, NVH analysis, dynamometer tests, Stats, & test reports; Testing for elect & mech parts to check dsgn accuracy; Approving & rejecting new products & returned samples from customers; Performing tests & parts analysis, managing test prep'n, setting up test benches, testing execution, post analysis & internal samples & customer samples reports; Dev comprehensive code for data analysis SW (Famos/DIAdem) to ensure accurate results & implmtg CAN, CAN-FD, & LIN comm coding for test rigs; Creating dynamometer test sequences & specs to meet customer reqs; Conducting integration, calibration, mapping, tuning, mech continuous power, efficiency, & funct'l testing for elec & mech sys; & Coord'g & managing test rig schedules to ensure proj deadlines are met.
