This role assists in project performance analysis for a diverse set of projects for our US based studio in our Accounting Department.  The ideal candidate will be working with a seasoned team located in Columbus, Seattle, and Shanghai.  The candidate will collaborate closely with Project Managers and accounting team members to ensure the integrity and timeliness of project information in a multi-company, multi-currency environment.  With proven demonstration of performance, this position has opportunity for advancement.  We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude and enjoys the challenge of a high volume, fast moving and ever changing business environment.   You have positive energy and able to consistently deliver professional customer service to internal and external customers
 

Your New Role:
 

Support project teams by preparing financial reports for clients, including labor forecasts, cash flows, and schedule of values

  • Analyze project performance by measuring results against work plans and provide feedback to project managers
  • Develop and monitor project action items
  • Assist with monthly revenue recognition process
  • Actively participate in process improvements
  • Collaborate with project managers to prepare client invoices and process consultant payments in accordance with contract terms
  • Monitor accounts receivables, evaluate risk and assist project managers with collections  
  • Assist with training of project managers, report development and software upgrades
  • Help with metrics tracking

What you will need to Succeed:

  • Relevant 4-year degree (Business Administration, Accounting, Finance)
  • Project cost accounting & general ledger experience required
  • Professional service industry and Deltek Vision software experience preferred
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and persistence
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Excel
  • Ability to work independently and consistently meet deadlines
  • Energetic, high level of initiative
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Desire to work in open, collaborative environment
