Summa Rehab Hospital, a joint venture between Summa Health System and Vibra Healthcare, is a new state of the art 60-bed rehab facility. Our  interdisciplinary team approach is  a crucial part of our effective rehabilitation program. Our team of professionals understand a wide variety of multi-faceted, complex disabilities and each member contributes unique services to the rehabilitation process. Our work is devoted to assisting and educating our patients to become more independent, to improve their self-esteem and to improve functional ability. We are looking for dedicated healthcare professionals to help us achieve our vision.

Summa Rehab Hospital is seeking Registered Nurses - RN's to join our team!
 

Shift opportunities include:

Nights: 7:00pm - 7:30am

Full-time: 36 hours/week

Part-time: 24 hours/week

Every other weekend required; holiday rotation

 

The Registered Nurse is responsible for all clinical functions, including all aspects of patient care.  The provision of care includes direct care along with the delegation and supervision of all nursing care.  Specific components of the Registered Nurse role include: (1) Demonstrating clinical competence; (2) Managing patient care; (3) Improving quality of care; (4) Establishing professional relationships and utilizing professional skills (5) Fulfilling responsibilities of the role; and (6) Developing clinical expertise per specialty.
 
Qualifications:
Graduate of School of Nursing as evidenced by licensure in the State of Ohio required.  One (1) year of medical/surgical experience and/or one (1) year rehab experience preferred.  Knowledge and skills: (1) ability to identify, implement, and evaluate components of the nursing process; (2) ability to identify learning needs and teach patients and families; (3) ability to communicate, collaborate, and delegate effectively; (4) organizational and priority setting skills (5) ability to lift/move patients (6) ability to actively participate in an interdisciplinary professional model.  Qualities of self-motivation; commitment to continuing education and professional growth; accountability for professional practice standards. American Heart Association BLS Certification required.
