Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Primarily focusing on realistic animation and character rigging
  • Putting together, 2D and 3D drawings and animations to provide a visualization of our multi disciplinary forensic engineers' cases
  • Assist engineers in conveying and/or supporting their opinions and explaining complex mechanisms through computer animation, graphic design or other creative mediums, primarily through character rigging and animation
  • Create multimedia presentations and storyboards related to and in support of forensic investigations
  • Support marketing and engineering departments with promotional graphics and demonstration videos
  • Deliver presentations and explain the computer animations or graphic designs created
  • Seek out and learn new technical applications that would benefit the goals of this position
  • Regular and predictable physical presence in the office

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum of Associate's degree in Art, Fine Art, Computer Animation or related field required
  • Minimum of five (5) years of post-academic computer animation experience with a focus on character animation a plus
  • Proficient in 3d modeling and animation
  • Experience in 3ds Max, Maya, ZBrush and Adobe Creative Suite
  • UV wrapping, painting and editing experience
  • Experience in graphic design, video editing/compositing, and interactive programming


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to travel 10% of the time
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs.
  • Ability to drive to site locations
  • Ability to communicate with clients and colleagues
