Senior Financial Analyst
SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST
The Senior Financial Analyst is primarily responsible for compiling, consolidating and analyzing financial information for the organization. S/he will develop integrated revenue/expense/margin analyses, forecasts, reports, and presentations; create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensure financial information has been recorded accurately. The incumbent will identify trends and developments in competitive environments and present findings to senior management. S/he will perform financial forecasting and budgeting in partnership with business leaders and perform a variety of ad-hoc analyses to support the business needs.
•Responsible for monthly close reporting consolidation and presentation development.
•Develop standard reporting templates for Capital Expenditure – Stage Gate.
•Develop Standard reporting templates for inventory reporting.
•Compile and publish monthly sales reporting
•Lead month-end presentation creation for report to Group and Division Steering Committee.
•Prepare forecast and budget packets.
•Generate and develop standard and project specific models for usage across the organization.
•Mentor accounting staff and cross functional coworkers on financial analysis and problem solving.
•Lead and direct the work of others.
•Perform significant financial projects with a wide degree of autonomy and latitude.
•Other duties as assigned.
•Bachelor's of Science degree in Accounting or Finance, required.
•Minimum of three to five years' experience as a financial analyst, preferred manufacturing experience.
•ERP experience required, preferably SAP with FI/CO experience, Cognos (Bits).
•Significant experience with financial reporting cycles - month end closings, forecasts/AOP.
•Excellent in technical financial concepts.
•Advanced skills and experience working with Excel & PowerPoint.
•Strong financial acumen, analytical, problem solving, and business partnership skills.
•Highly effective written and oral communication skills.
•Ability to understand and articulate financial impact or business decisions.
•Demonstrated success in developing and fostering teamwork at all levels.
•Ability to complete tasks expeditiously, professionally, and with minimal oversight.
•A positive, can-do orientation and an ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment.
•Must be able to multi-task, to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
•Able to work independently or with a team.
•Ability to travel, both domestically and internationally, as needed up to 10% of time.
